Kay Bojesen’s large Dessert Spoon is not merely for classic desserts; it is just as good for porridge, corn flakes and pudding. The large Dessert Spoon boasts the same features as its big sister, the Dinner Spoon, only scaled down. The diameter of the egg-shaped bowl is slightly smaller, making it easier to fit in the mouth than the classic Dinner Spoon. So it really is a matter of temperament and size of hand and mouth – nobody says that everyone at the table guests has to use the same tools.
Functionality was key to Kay Bojesen, and that is why he designed 57 pieces of his 1930s Grand Prix silverware. Nine different spoons have been carefully selected from the Grand Prix silverware series for production in stainless steel, ensuring a spoon for most purposes and hands.
