Prices and payment
The price of a product is the price quoted on kaybojesen.com at the time of placing the order. Reservations are made for printing errors and sold-out products. All the product prices on kaybojesen.com are applicable until changed. The prices are stated in euro and include the EU sales TAX/VAT and exclude possible delivery costs. If the package is being shipped to a country outside of EU, the VAT is subtracted from the total during checkout. Please see the section about customs and sales tax/VAT.
Kay Bojesen accepts payment through following credit cards: Dankort, VISA/Dankort, EURO/MASTERCARD, JCB and VISA/Electron. The payment will be withdrawn from your account once the order is ready for shipment. Once the transaction has been completed, it will be apparent in your bank statement or in your account.
You will receive an electronic order confirmation with a unique order number, as an automated confirmation of your purchase. This consists of a specification of the products that have been ordered, the customer’s contact information, delivery information, payment method and the purchase amount for the products including possible delivery costs.
If you wish to contact us regarding a completed order, please include your order number.
It is recommended that you go through your order confirmation immediately, and contact Kay Bojesen as soon as possible, should there be any discrepencies or errors. What is written in the order confirmation is binding, unless you send a written objection immediately after receiving the electronic order confirmation per mail, as Kay Bojesen package and ship orders soon after sending the order confirmation.
Delivery and shipping
Kay Bojesen ApS offer shipment with delivery to home addresses or delivery to a chosen parcel pick-up location of your choice. You will receive details regarding delivery and pick-up information directly from your chosen courier through the contact information, you shared with us at the order placement.
The expected shipping time for orders within Denmark is 2-4 business days. Orders to Denmark are delivered by PostNord with/ without distribution or GLS with/ without distribution.

The expected shipping time for orders within Europe is 2-7 business days. The expected shipping time outside Europe is 3-7 business days. Orders to the rest of the world is delivered by Postnord or GLS.

Please note that orders with delivery to the UK require a minimum value (before any discounts) of £ 135 / € 157.
All orders are sent as insured and trackable packages and business mail, which means that the order can not be sent as a gift to a non-EU country to evade local taxes and duties.
During holidays and busy periods, the delivery and dispatch time may differ from the standard expected shipping time. Should there be delays with the courier, Kay Bojesen can not be held liable.
As a consumer, you have a cancellation right that is valid for 14 days when shopping at kaybojesen.com. The cancellation period expires 14 days after the day you receive your package. If you wish to exercise your right of cancellation, you must notify us before the deadline has expired.
This is done by sending us an unequivocal message via e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org, clarifying which goods are to be returned. Kay Bojesen’s standard cancellation form, which can be found at the bottom of this page, can be used to draft the message with all necessary information.
The cancellation right can be used efter receiving the order, but also before. This can be done by refusing to receive the product at home delivery, or by choosing not to collect the package from the parcel shop. In both cases, however, it is required that Kay Bojesen receives a clear message about the customer’s wish to activate their cancellation right, in order to register and refund the correct amount.
Cancellation right for presents
If your right of withdrawal concerns a present that has been bought and given away, the receiver of the present can contact us via email: email@example.com with the order number. The same rules of the cancellation right applies to presents. See the standard cancellation form.
If the present is to be given at a time, which makes it impossible to use the cancellation right within the usual 14-day period, please contact us beforehand to make an agreement regarding an extended right of cancellation. If it is noted in the comment field that the products will be gifted away, when placing the order, we can enclose a certificate of exchange with a usage guide, which will make the return process easier for both the giving and receiving part.
Cancellation right for part of the purchase
If you have completed a purchase consisting of several items, you have the option to return one, more or all the items from the concerned order. It needs to be made clear which goods are being returned, before the products are sent back. Please note that Kay Bojesen only cover the shipping expenses for one return shipping per order.
Cancellation right for orders sent in multiple deliveries
If you have ordered several items in one order, which are delivered individually or in several shipments, the deadline runs from the day you receive the last item. If there has been made an agreement with delivery of products over a certain period, the cancellation period expires 14 days after the day you receive the first item or package.
When you shop at kaybojesen.com, you have 14 days to activate your cancellation right. Before the deadline has been reached, you have to contact us regarding your wish to effectuate your right to return, via mail: firstname.lastname@example.org. After we have received your request to return, you have 14 days to send back the items.

You are responsible for the goods until they have been received by us, and are also liable if damage occurs during transport. It is therefore important that the returned items are packaged responsibly. It is a good idea to save your postal receipt and tracking number.
If the items show signs of use, or of what is described above, we consider it used. This means that, if you use your cancellation right, you will only get a part- or none of the purchase amount back, depending on the commercial value of the item. The item must be returned in the original packaging.
Products excluded from the cancellation right
Personalised products can not be returned or exchanges. This, for example, applies to products with personally selected engravings. Additionally, limited edition products can only be returned within the limited sales period, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
If you have won a product or received a free item as a gift along with your order, this can not be exchanged for cash or other products of the same value. The gift can be canceled in advance or sent back to us without compensation. If the received gift has a defect, it can be exchanged for the same product, as long as there are more in stock.
It is possible to return only individual items in a combined order. However, this does not apply for bundles, which consist of several items under a single product number. With bundles, several products are purchased together, and are therefore considered one item that can not be split up afterwards. If you wish to use the right of cancellation on a purchase of a product in a bundle, the entire bundle must be returned and all the items in it must be returned together.
All products are covered by the Danish sale of goods. That means that when you shop at kaybojesen.com, you have the right to complain about defects and deficiencies that arise within 24 months of the purchase. If your claim is justified, you will either have the item repaired, exchanged, have the money refunded or a reduction in the price, depending on the specific situation.
If defects or deficiencies have arisen due to negligent use, lack of correct maintenance, or is simply a natural sign of use, your right to complain is renounced.
You must complain within “reasonable time” and immediately after discovering the defect or imperfection. If you file a complaint within two months after the defect is discovered, the complaint will always be considered timely. If the claim is accepted, we will cover your (reasonable) shipping costs.
To file a claim, you have to contact us at email@example.com, in order for us to process your complaint. Please include a detailed description of the problem and preferably with a picture of the issue attached.
Should the package or content be damaged upon arrival, please report it to the courier immediately, or no later than two days after receiving it. We aim to package all items with care and protection, to minimise the possibility of damage during transportation.
Refund of the purchase amount
If you cancel your order, you will have the purchase amount refunded to you. If the products are impaired, we will deduct the amount you are liable for. We will refund all payments received from you, including delivery costs (excluding additional delivery costs in cases where you have chosen a different form of delivery than the cheapest form of standard delivery that we offer), as soon as we have received the goods back, and have had the opportunity to examine the returned products.
The money will be refunded through the same means of payment that was used for the purchase, unless otherwise agreed.
Customs and sales tax/ VAT
If your order is placed from an EU country, you must pay the Danish sales tax/ VAT, but no customs fee, cf. the EU regulations for customs duties on goods traded within the EU. However, if your order is placed outside the EU, you will not have to pay Danish VAT, but you may have to pay additional tax and duties in the country of destination.
Kay Bojesen bears no responsibility for these or other fees imposed by customs authorities. The courier will contact you in case of any additional charges or customs fees. This can cause delay to the delivery. Please be advised that it is your responsibility to pay for these extra charges.
If you have any complaints concerning your purchase, please contact us by email: firstname.lastname@example.org. If it is not possible to come to a solution, you may also submit a complaint about products purchased from us to ‘Nævnenes Hus’, Toldboden 2, 8800 Viborg. You can file the complaint via www.forbrug.dk. If you are a resident in another EU-country than Denmark, you can complain use the EU-commissions online complaints register: www.ec.europa.eu/odr.
Kay Bojesen is committed to protecting your privacy. All information you give to us is securely received through SSL (Secure Sockets Layer). We need the following information when you shop with us: name, address, phone number and email address. We register and transmit your personal data to be able to dispatch and deliver your order to you. The personal data is registered with Kay Bojesen ApS and stored for five years, after which the information is deleted. We collaborate with a number of other companies that store and process data. These companies only process information on our behalf and may not use the data for their own purposes. We only work with data processors in the EU or in countries that can provide information with sufficient protection.
According to the Danish Act on the Processing of Personal Data, you can obtain access to and correct the personal data that concerns you. You can also object to the further use of your data. Inquiries in this regard should be sent to: email@example.com.
Credit card information passes through kaybojesen.com to PBS via a secure and encrypted SSL connection, which means that Kay Bojesen ApS does not have access to your payment card information.
