WING 40 cm
The second largest WING dish measures 40 cm and is made in glazed white porcelain.
Kay Bojesen was a silversmith – trained by Georg Jensen – and he designed numerous silver objects. The WING dish was originally designed as a teak tray for a silver dish. However, the shape of the tray itself is so interesting that it was revived in 2017 as a white porcelain dish.
In line with Kay Bojesen’s functionalist philosophy, the versatile WING dish is available in several sizes. Use the second-largest 40 cm WING dish as a dinner plate, for light platters, or a small salad. Set the table with the Grand Prix dinner cutlery and serve the dishes with the small salad server set, or use one of the many other pieces in the series.
Let the WING dish adorn the kitchen table, filled with lemons, tomatoes and other foods that do not need refrigeration. Place it on the desk for paper clips and pens. Or nestle your favourite piece of jewellery here when not wearing it. With its glossy, hand-dipped glaze, it is beautiful no matter what you use it for.
