Salt Spoon in matt steel
Matt stainless steel cutlery, 6,9 cm · Design: Kay Bojesen · Series: Grand Prix
The small, delicate Salt Spoon is the smallest piece of Kay Bojesen’s Grand Prix family. It is true to the design, albeit almost four times smaller than the large Serving and Salad Spoon.
In the 1930s, a fancy table setting included “private pieces” for each setting; for instance a small ashtray or a little salt cellar and salt spoon set. Even today, a salt cellar and salt spoon set would come in handy, but we have gotten used to a shared salt cellar. In this shared salt cellar found on many dining tables today, it would be a good idea to place a couple of the small Grand Prix Salt Spoons.
Besides salt, the Salt Spoon can be used for condiments and small, spicy sauces.
