The bowl is a harmonious addition to the super thin plates in the same porcelain series. White porcelain glazed with hand-dipped thick glaze and a small rolled edge confirm the kinship.
The design of the bowl is based on a small salt cellar from Kay Bojesen’s large silver heritage. The original salt cellar has been scaled up, and together with the new material, porcelain, it gives the bowl a contemporary look.
On the dinner table, the bowl is good for soups or dishes with gravy, and it works just as well as a small salad bowl, perhaps with the small Grand Prix salad server set. The next morning, it is just as ideal for cereal or yoghurt with fresh berries.
