The silver teapot is made by Kay Bojesen in the 1930’s and is a perfect example on Kay’s functionalistic approach on silver craft. Kay Bojesen did not wish to decorate and ornament his silver craft since the material and it’s reflections are decoration in itself. Kay was keen on developing the perfect pouring spout and after Kay’s death in 1958, his family found many different drawings of the pouring spout for this teapot. In the end, Kay developed this beautiful and drip-free pouring spout.
